Work From Home
Work from Home
Four years ago I took early retirement from teaching with the intention of finding a way to work from home to earn some money to supplement my pension. I could never have imagined the journey I was about to embark on.
Working from home, especially using the internet as a medium for doing this, has been an ongoing learning experience for me. Not only have learned the right way to do things, but also how not to do things and what to avoid.
Having worked in a team for most of my working life I had many concerns about my decision to work from home. My main concern was that it would be a lonely existence and that I would be left very much to fend for myself. I couldnt have been more wrong. Anyone else who might consider the option to work from home should be heartened by the fact that there is an amazing online community out there of like minded people all trying to earn a living from the comfort of their own homes. Some are making a very good living and others just starting out are, like me learning the ropes and the dos and donts of how to run a successful work at home business.
One of the biggest turning points for me, although I didnt realize it at the time was finding the Veretekk System, a state of the art SEO system that has so much to offer the work at home entrepreneur that is has taken me several months to get to grips with it all and I still have a lot to learn about it. It is very exciting to find such brilliantly executed tools to help you to grow your business.
My advice to anyone wanting to try their hand at working from home is to search for a business opportunity that offers training, teamwork and regular support. By teamwork I mean everyone working together for the good of the whole, not working in isolation duplicating each others work, but working in a complementary way. Everyone doing what they do best so that the whole team benefits.
If you would like further information on how to successfully go about starting a work from home business, review the short introduction below.

Work From Home
Who in their right mind would want to work from home? Me!
When you work from home look at all you have to give up. I say that to myself every winter day when the snow is falling and its 5AM. Just look at the price I have to pay to work from home. I say that to myself at least 10 times before I roll over and bury my head in the pillow for another 40 winks.
Winter days are my lazy days. I remember in the fall of 1993 it started to snow and it kept on snowing. I was snowed in pretty much all winter, snow drifts to the second floor. Thankfully my neighbor came over with his front end loader and cleared my driveway. Good thing my trip to the office was just down the stairs, past the fireplace (toss another log on the fire) and into the office.
Like I said, you give up a lot when you work from home.
Actually starting a work from home business is not for everyone as there are some trade-offs. When you for an employer you have benefits like 401K, paid vacations, sick days and medical insurance.
Those perks are what used to keep people tied to a company job however times have changed.
Now those who are employed by others are finding their paid vacations may be a little shorter, sick days fewer, you now pay at least a portion of your medical insurance and your 401K company contributions just arent there. Also the new trend in cross training, teaching you other jobs just incase Debbie calls in sick that day ad they end up short handed. What cross training really means is that in addition to doing the job you were hired you are now doing additional work without any additional pay.
Changes in the employer/employee environment have definitely impacted the growth of the work from home business opportunity industry. Recent studies have shown that more than 50% of US households are actively engaged in a work from home business either to supplement or replace their current streams of income.
The work from home business are an offers many attractive benefits and features. Work from home opportunities offer the advantage of low business start up costs. lower operating costs and tax advantages.
Work from home business also offer flexibility. As an example when you are employed by a company you have to be at work at a certain time. If you are late they dock your time. Traditionally you receive 2 short breaks during the day and an hour for lunch.
In a work at home environment you can pretty much work on your schedule. You decide when to take a break. You decide when to have lunch and you decide when to quit.
I think the benefits of a work from home environment far outweigh the negatives, how about you?

Is using Data Entry Jobs a way to work from home, or are they Fraudulent?
Data entry jobs seem to be a job that just about anyone with a little training on computers could accomplish. As a work from home business it seems like a great opportunity, and there
are companies on the internet that offer such jobs. Work from home, and make tons of money just entering data on the computer while sitting at home they advertise.
These jobs are referred to as being so easy that just about anyone would be quailifide to do the job. The majority of this jobs require almost no investment, therefore making them
very attractive for people who want to work from home to add to their income.
Usually the job requires you to work from home by entering different type of data into a computer from some information that did not exist in the soft form and needs to be entered to
create a database. This data could be in the form of numbers entered in a spreadsheet, or text typed into a word processor from a transcript or a manuscript. There are also
companies that hire people for simply entering past data or current data into archives or databases that they maintain online.
However, taking on a data entry job has a limitation for the person who decides to work from home. Since the payment for this type of work is generally on an hourly basis, there is a
limit to what you can hope to earn. The scope for expanding horizons and moving up the value chain in terms of the kind of work done is limited.
There are all so some companies that promise the ?work from home? person something in return of an initial investment, and then cheated a large number by not delivering the goods.
Also, there are companies that offer individuals a choice to buy a report to get trained in how to promote affiliate programs. However, in most cases the promised report
failed to be comprehensive enough to aid in the process of learning the tricks of the trade. Additionally, some aspects of affiliate marketing revealed in these reports makes you
aware of the fact that you actually need to invest and pay for the ads. As a starter in affiliate marketing, you are not offered any coaching post the purchase of the report. In most
cases, the duped individual has no way in which he can access company professionals for further guidance. Companies that prance around as data entry job suppliers are really not supplying any jobs!
So in the long run any one that is planning to work from home needs to do there home work on any opportunity that they are planning on pursuing. Better safe than sorry, so keep
those eyes open if you plan to work from home.
Work From Home
There are many things on the Internet that can provide you with a work from home opportunity. There are also many out there that will rip you off every chance they get. Keep you eyes open and check and double check anything you are looking into. Here is another scam that I see very often.
PROCESSING MEDICAL INSURANCE CLAIMS:
Typical Ad -- "You can earn from $800 to $1000 weekly processing insurance claims on your home computer for health care professionals such as doctors, dentists chiropractors, and podiatrists. Over 80% of providers need your services. Learn how in one day!"
Generally, the promoter of this scheme attracts you by advertising on cable television and, perhaps, by inviting you to a business opportunity trade show at a hotel or convention center. You may be:
Urged to buy software programs and even computers at exorbitant prices; a program selling at a software store for $69 might cost you several thousands of dollars. Told that your work will be coordinated with insurance companies by a central computer. Required to pay for expensive training sessions available at a "current special rate" that will be higher in the future, and Pressured to make a decision immediately. Most likely, the expensive training sessions are superficial, and the market for your services is very small or nonexistent. The promoter may delay the processing of your job, citing a backlog or mistakes in your work. There may also be no central computer as advertised. You may be left with no way to deliver what you have promised to your clients or customers?if you found any?and with no way to earn any money on you own.
Avoiding Fraud There is no substitute for closely examining any offer which promises or guarantees income from work from home programs. If it sounds too good to be true, chances are it?s a scam.
Consider it a warning sign if a worker must buy something in order to start the program. Those interested also should take into consideration that, by becoming involved in a work from home scheme, they might well be perpetrating a fraud by selling the program to others, and risk investigation by postal authorities.
For a reliability report on a specific work from home company, you should check it out first with your local B.B.B. A major problem is that the majority of them are not even listed.
Signs of a Work From Home Scamer
A Work From Home Scheme Promoter will:
Never offer you regular salaried employment.
Promise you huge profits and big part-time earnings.
Use personal testimonials but never identify the person so that you could check with them.
Require money for instructions or merchandise before telling you how the plan operates.
Assure you of guaranteed markets and a huge demand for your handiwork.
Tell you that no experience is necessary.
Take your money and give you little or nothing in return except heartbreak and grief.
Just remember that spending the extra time upfront, will save you a lot of time and money in the end. Although the idea of being able to work from home is very appealing, you must remember to be careful.
